Stavanger has a lot of shopping opportunities, both malls and enchanting boutiques. Credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, Diner’s and American Express) are accepted at almost all shops.

Stores are usually open between 10 AM and 7 PM on weekdays. On Saturdays most stores are open between 10 and 4. They are closed on Sundays.

Remember to buy your beer before 8 PM on weekdays and 6 PM on Saturdays! Some food stores stay open until 10 or 11 pm on weekdays and 8 pm on Sat.
